Room Scheduling

As of May 19 2021, rooms may be reserved only by Clark Center Faculty and their admins, and meetings can only include Clark center residents at this time. Policies and the reservation form are available below.


Starting May 19, 2021 we will open a few of the Clark Center meeting rooms for small meetings.

Below we list policies that we have put in place to ensure your safety:

  • Rooms may be reserved through the Bio-X website only by Clark Center Faculty and their admins, and meetings can only include Clark center residents at this time.
  • Rooms W155, W255, W355, E105, E205, E305, S222, and W080 are the only rooms we are opening at this time. Faculty on the third floor south may use the third floor south lounge area at this time. (no reservation is needed for 3rd floor lounge area)
  • You may reserve only the room on your floor of residence.
  • Only 4 people at a time can meet in the room. (Tables are marked with green tape where attendees may sit.)
  • A list of all 4 attendees must be submitted at the time of reservation.
  • If you need a larger space for a meeting for up to 10 people, you must reserve the Nexus seating area. For information about reserving the Nexus seating area, click the button below.
  • Sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizers will be provided in the room, and attendees are responsible for cleaning surfaces before and after each meeting.
  • No eating or drinking is allowed in the meeting rooms (or anywhere inside the building).
  • 30 minutes must be allowed between each meeting, so everyone must keep to their allotted time.
  • A portable air purifier is provided in each room and must be kept on at all times. 
  • After each meeting is finished, the room door(s) must be left open until the next group meeting starts.

Some of these policies will be posted in the meeting room. Please make sure that all meeting attendees follow policies.

Once you have reviewed all of these policies, please check the room calendars to check the availability of the conference room in your area. Then use the form to place a reservation request.

We ask for one full business day to process requests, which will be addressed on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • S363 is located in the seminar area on the 3rd floor of the South wing of the Clark Center, accessible by going through Peet's Coffee.  It is available for lectures, meetings, presentations, and seminars and can accommodate a maximum of 25 people with classroom-style seating (individual chairs with desktops).

  • S360 is located in the seminar area on the 3rd floor of the South wing of the Clark Center, accessible by going through Peet's Coffee.  It is available for lectures, meetings, presentations, and seminars and can accommodate a maximum of 74 people with classroom-style seating (individual chairs with desktops).

  • W355 can ONLY be reserved by residents of the Clark Center.

    W355 is located on the 3rd floor of the West wing of the Clark Center, through door W3.1 and to the left.  It is available for small meetings, presentations, and other assorted events and can accommodate a maximum of 18 people with round-table seating.

    The Clark Center is accessible between 8am and 6pm Monday through Friday.  Before or after hours or on weekends, access to the building and to the conference rooms will require a Clark Center access badge.

    Capacity:

  • W255 can ONLY be reserved by residents of the Clark Center.

    W255 is located on the 2nd floor of the West wing of the Clark Center, through door W2.1 and to the left.  It is available for small meetings, presentations, and other assorted events and can accommodate a maximum of 18 people with round-table seating.

    The Clark Center is accessible between 8am and 6pm Monday through Friday.  Before or after hours or on weekends, access to the building and to the conference rooms will require a Clark Center access badge.

  • W155 can ONLY be reserved by the Shatz and Ting labs.  The sponsor for any event held in W155 MUST be Dr. Shatz or Dr. Ting for the reservation request to be considered.

    W155 is located on the 1st floor of the West wing of the Clark Center, through door W1.1 and to the left.  It is available for small meetings, presentations, and other assorted events and can accommodate a maximum of 18 people with round-table seating.

  • W080 can ONLY be reserved by the Deisseroth and Schnitzer labs.  The sponsor for any event held in W080 MUST be Dr. Deisseroth or Dr. Schnitzer for the reservation request to be considered.

    W080 is located in the basement of the West wing of the Clark Center.  It is available for small meetings, presentations, and other assorted events and can accommodate a maximum of 15 people with round-table seating.

  • S222 can ONLY be reserved by residents of the Clark Center.

    S222 is located on the 2nd floor of the South wing of the Clark Center, through door S2.1 and down the hall.  It is available for small meetings, presentations, and other assorted events and can accommodate a maximum of 16 people with round-table seating.

    The Clark Center is accessible between 8am and 6pm Monday through Friday.  Before or after hours or on weekends, access to the building and to the conference rooms will require a Clark Center access badge.

  • E305 can ONLY be reserved by residents of the Clark Center.

    E305 is located on the 3rd floor of the East wing of the Clark Center, through door E3.3 and through the laboratory.  It is available for small meetings, presentations, and other assorted events and can accommodate a maximum of 20 people with round-table seating.

    You may ONLY book E305 if attendees will be escorted through the lab by an individual with Clark Center badge access who has completed the necessary safety training.

  • E205 can ONLY be reserved by residents of the Clark Center.

    E205 is located on the 2nd floor of the East wing of the Clark Center, through door E2.3 and through the laboratory.  It is available for small meetings, presentations, and other assorted events and can accommodate a maximum of 20 people with round-table seating.

    You may ONLY book E205 if attendees will be escorted through the lab by an individual with Clark Center badge access who has completed the necessary safety training.

  • E105 can ONLY be reserved by residents of the Clark Center.

    E105 is located on the 1st floor of the East wing of the Clark Center, through door E1.3 and through the laboratory.  It is available for small meetings, presentations, and other assorted events and can accommodate a maximum of 20 people with round-table seating.

    You may ONLY book E105 if attendees will be escorted through the lab by an individual with Clark Center badge access who has completed the necessary safety training.

  • The Clark Center Courtyard is located in the middle of the three wings and is the roof of the Clark Auditorium.

  • The Clark Center Auditorium is located downstairs below the Clark Center Courtyard, accessible by the courtyard staircase or by the elevators in the East wing lobby.

    It is available for lectures, presentations, seminars, and other events and can accommodate a maximum of 150 people with theater-style seating (rows of individual chairs with desktops).

    NO FOOD OR DRINK is allowed in the Clark Center Auditorium or the lobby space at ANY TIME.  Event speakers may have bottled water ONLY.
